A Drainage Board is a lightweight, high-strength plastic sheet featuring a unique dimpled structure engineered to facilitate efficient water drainage and provide reliable waterproofing protection. The dimples create a continuous drainage channel, allowing excess water to flow away smoothly and preventing hydrostatic pressure from building up against structural surfaces.

This product is widely used in a variety of applications, including building foundations, retaining walls, basements, tunnels, green roofs, and landscaping projects. By effectively diverting water, the drainage board prevents water accumulation, reduces the risk of seepage, and protects structural integrity over time.

Its durable plastic composition resists corrosion, chemicals, and deformation, ensuring long-term performance even in harsh underground or outdoor environments. Easy to handle and install, drainage boards offer a practical, cost-effective solution for modern waterproofing and drainage systems in civil engineering and environmental construction projects.

Installation Steps of Drainage Board

1️⃣ Surface Preparation
Clean and level the base surface to ensure proper installation and contact with the structure. Remove debris, sharp objects, or irregularities that may damage the board.

2️⃣ Roll Out Drainage Board
Place the drainage board on the prepared surface with the dimple side facing down to create an effective drainage space.

3️⃣ Overlap & Fixing
Overlap the edges of adjacent boards by 10–20 cm. Secure the board using nails, adhesives, or mechanical fasteners to ensure stability and prevent displacement during backfilling.

4️⃣ Backfilling / Finishing Layer
Cover the board with geotextile fabric, soil, or other specified materials according to project requirements. This layer protects the board and allows efficient water flow.
